wiscon and mentioned some items I find particularly interesting. The only program item I'll be on is the Tiptree Auction, which suits me fine since I'll be coming to WisCon straight from a week at PyCon.
A few years ago I wrote an invitation to first-timers to come to WisCon --alexandraerin has done better than that and written two comprehensive guides called "So, you want to go to WisCon?", on logistics and on expectations.
