If you have time, could you do a longer post here that clarifies some things.

I am noticing that some people were not around when LJ was first acquired by the Russians, and they do not remember all the DDOS attacks. Should we be expecting more of that?

I am noticing some people are being condescending because they think other people are afraid that the Russians will now be reading their content. I don't see a lot of people who are actually concerned about that. There is one exception to this rule.

I am noticing that LGBT people have some concerns around some Russian gay propaganda law. What are their concerns? Do you think there is some validity to that?

I am sorry - I do not know enough to write a followup post. Someone else did recently because of the terms of service changes.

Maybe you could post some of your questions, especially about whether we should expect DDoS attacks, in a comment on this news post, and people who know more about the issue would answer?

Hey there! I was scrolling around looking at the Russian topics. It seems to me that, if you're not a Russian dissident, there's no real reason to jump LJ. I have a DW account (obviously) but LJ is my main blog/place for crazy.
