Your comment about the dependencies in Spiritfarer is spot-on. I don't mind gathering/crafting mechanics as much as it seems you do, but I could definitely wish Spiritfarer gave a few more hints about how much of any particular thing I'll need to keep my guests in good trim.

I do like the fishing mechanic an awful lot more than Stardew Valley's...
