Ooh, you watched Korra first? I'll be fascinated to hear what you think. My kid and I watched Avatar first -- several times through (many times!) -- and then got to Korra. He bounced off of Korra at first because she's older than Aang and the timeshift from pseudo-feudal to 1920s was disconcerting for him, but after about six months he grew up enough that he was ready for it, and now it's his favorite of the two shows.

I love them both. I know they are flawed, but I love them anyway. The character development for Zuko and Uncle Iroh still dazzles me. And both shows reward multiple viewings...

The Job Accommodation Network is so needed! I can only imagine how many people that could help. (Question: do they have a strategy if an employee snaps and gets violent? Asking for a friend.)

I am so signing up to watch that panel!

Which ones? I'm guessing "Disruptive" is one of them.

I'm introducing MyGuy to Avatar -- he actually laughs out loud several times.

It does lend itself to rewatch, which is a great quality in any medium. It's particularly great for things aimed at kids who are able to load a DVD themselves.
