I've been trying to keep a thrice-daily mood diary for the past few weeks, and so far, HALT (Hungry/Angry/Lonely/Tired) + cold have had far more of an effect on me than I had really realized. (I say as I'm up past midnight, which I now know is bad for me. Blargh.)

Yeah, I kind of... knew that not getting enough sleep was not conducive to a good mood for me, but I've been making myself go to bed by 10:30 (I get up at, haha, 5:30, b/c I am slow & hate rushing in the morning & also do stuff like physio exercises & yoga) on work nights for the past several weeks & it makes such a difference. ^^;;; Not that it's a cureall, but it has been helping me a lot. Still working on the HAL part of that acronym though.

That makes sense.

In fact, I can imagine only some super-resilient super-heroes for whom constant HALT would be anything other than grinding.

(Another guaranteed downer for me is keeping mood diaries.)
